What’s in Your Cart?

Want to lose weight?
For Starts,
We need to check out our grocery cart,
Fill it with Apples, Oranges and Bananas, too,
Strawberries, grapes, and even Kiwi Fruit.
Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, and Tomatoes;
Green Beans, Onions and Potatoes.

Cut ‘em up, Slice ‘em up, Dice ‘em up
Have them ready to eat,
There good for your heart,
And with a dip of some kind, they are a special treat.

Don’t eat too many breads,
And stay away from too many carbs,
Eat the wheat with 3 grams of fiber,
And you will make a great start!

Plan your trip to the grocery store,
So you won’t impulse buy,
Stick to the list so you will have more…
Clothes to buy.

Don’t go Listless,
You will walk aimlessly around,
Have a plan in your hand,
So you can go to town.

So eat your fruits and vegetables,
That’s what is recommended, so they say,
Let’s be cautious what we throw in our basket,
So we will get filled up in a brand new way.

Start exercising or walking
Just a small little bit,
And soon those pounds will come off,
And you will be fit!
